Kicking back and musing about life in the South

I was continually wondering how the Penicks made their way from Virginia down to Kentucky. What really puzzled me, though, was why they ended up in East Texas. Afterall, they left behind them a large, productive plantation and rich community right here in Christian County Kentucky.
