Buying a map was a good idea
Since the country roads wound through numerous small communities, we feared getting lost so we stopped at a gas station and bought a map. It was a good one, and big too. One robust cowboy came over to our car and offered his advice and directions. I didn't think we looked like we we were lost, or anything...really.
