In late October I traveled to Kentucky to discover first hand the land of my family ancestors. More particularly, the PENICK branch of my family tree on my mother's side. For many years I have desired to experience for myself the places and sites where my Penick family worked, raised their children and lead productive and enjoyable lives. The photos that follow document my wonderful, and yes, late life journey of discovery.
